Happy Fall Y'All!

Handsome Boy
Pretty Princess

Best Friends

We recently took the kids to the park and had some new pictures taken. It was kind of a long hour, but we did get some cute shots. I'm bias, but I definitely think they're cuties!!

Halloween Day & Night

On Halloween Day I took the kids over to Misty's so we could make carmel popcorn (for us:)) and pumpkin cupcakes for the kids. The kids kept asking us over and over again if it was time to frost the cupcakes, then all they really did was lick it off their knives! Zadie and Jar Bear slopped it on so thick it was falling off the sides, but they had a lot of fun, especially with the sprinkles. We had to regulate that a little more so it didn't get everywhere. When the kids finally got to eat their cupcakes, they just ate the frosting. One picture is of Zadie and Jaren in the back yard where the garden was. They were using Zadie's shoes as trucks and were pushing them around full of dirt. They were filthy!! But, having tons of fun. When we brought them in to frost the cupcakes, they were balls of dirt from head to toe-literally! There is also a group shot of the grandkids at trunk or treat. Zadie was-of course-a princess, and Romeo was a tiger. We had a lot of fun!

Happy Boo to You!

Here are the kids in their Halloween outfits. They looked so cute I had to take pictures of them with their pumpkins so everyone could see. This picture of Zadie is classic-She is always ready for the camera with a pose. She's also into wearing my shoes. She'll tell me she's the mommy and they are her shoes and for me to wear hers. It's pretty cute to see her walking around in shoes that are almost as big as her! Romeo is still getting into everything. He loves the stools in the kitchen, but he's pulled them over on himself a few times too. He's so happy most of the time-such a good baby. But-I think I have the cutest kids around.

Zadie's 3!!

I can't believe this day has come! It seems like only yesterday Zadie came flying into this world, already on her own schedule. When I look at her I still see my beautiful little baby, not this smart, energetic and BIG girl. She assures me all the time that she will always take care of me, even though she is getting bigger and when I hold her and tell her not to grow up, she says, "But I want to be big like you and be a mommy?" It's so cute, but sometimes it makes me sad still. She tells everyone that she is a princess and that she has long hair like Sleeping Beauty. She loves Dancing with the Stars and dances all over the house. She has even started to attempt tumbling, so it's definitely time to get her in some classes. Zadie takes such good care of her little brother that he misses her when she isn't here, and so does Daddy. He says she is Daddy's little girl, but I'm pretty sure she has him wrapped around her finger.
Zadie got to celebrate her birthday twice since we were in San Diego-that's the picture of her and Edson with frosting on their faces. At home she wanted an Ariel cake and princess decorations. She's still talking about her cake. I hope the next year doesn't go as fast!!

Sunny San Diego

Here we are riding the carousel at Sea Port Village. Zadie remembered it from last year and wanted to ride the horsies again. Romeo loves it now too!

Papa Saul and Romeo
Last month we went to San Diego to see the newest member of the Garcia family, Nancy's little boy Brio. He is so cute! Zadie loved to hold him and Romeo just kept trying to figure him out. We had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone, especially since we don't see Edson's family very often. The weather was so perfect and we had such a good time, we didn't want to leave.

Hanging out at the pool. Papa found a new buddy!

Bath Time

Romeo loves taking baths now that he can move around in the tub. He loves to play with the water from the faucet and splash around. He's even a pretty good sport when Zadie pours water on his head. His big thing is standing up and dancing, but that gets pretty slippery. As soon as he hears the water running, he crawls down the hall and gets really excited. Bathtime is a favorite!
