We got all our Christmas decorations out last night for FHE and put up the tree. It was almost more work trying to keep Romeo from breaking the ornaments, but we survived. He had more fun climbing up and down the ladder than he did trying to undo the tree, so once he was occupied there, it went a lot quicker. Zadie pulled out our 2 Santas and Mrs. Claus that play music and they started dancing and laughing at each other. It was so cute to see how much fun they were having with the simplest thing. We are excited to have the holiday season here, and even more excited to be done with our Christmas shopping. That is a huge relief! We plan on just enjoying each other and spending time serving others and having fun. I already started baking today! Here are some pictures of last night. Merry Christmas everyone!

We had a lot of fun carving the pumpkins. We got a kit with different pictures and Zadie chose the trick or treat pattern. It was pretty tricky to do with her. And thanks to Derrick for cleaning out the pumkins...yuck. That isn't a fun job but he did it anyway.

For Halloween Zadie dressed up like Ariel from the Little Mermaid and Romeo was a pirate...not a very happy one since I had to wake him up from his nap, but a cute one! Zadie again loved posing for the camera. She kept telling me to take another picture. I can't believe how beautiful she looked and the transformation that came with a little red lipstick. Wow!!
