Zadie's 3!!

I can't believe this day has come! It seems like only yesterday Zadie came flying into this world, already on her own schedule. When I look at her I still see my beautiful little baby, not this smart, energetic and BIG girl. She assures me all the time that she will always take care of me, even though she is getting bigger and when I hold her and tell her not to grow up, she says, "But I want to be big like you and be a mommy?" It's so cute, but sometimes it makes me sad still. She tells everyone that she is a princess and that she has long hair like Sleeping Beauty. She loves Dancing with the Stars and dances all over the house. She has even started to attempt tumbling, so it's definitely time to get her in some classes. Zadie takes such good care of her little brother that he misses her when she isn't here, and so does Daddy. He says she is Daddy's little girl, but I'm pretty sure she has him wrapped around her finger.
Zadie got to celebrate her birthday twice since we were in San Diego-that's the picture of her and Edson with frosting on their faces. At home she wanted an Ariel cake and princess decorations. She's still talking about her cake. I hope the next year doesn't go as fast!!

Sunny San Diego

Here we are riding the carousel at Sea Port Village. Zadie remembered it from last year and wanted to ride the horsies again. Romeo loves it now too!

Papa Saul and Romeo
Last month we went to San Diego to see the newest member of the Garcia family, Nancy's little boy Brio. He is so cute! Zadie loved to hold him and Romeo just kept trying to figure him out. We had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone, especially since we don't see Edson's family very often. The weather was so perfect and we had such a good time, we didn't want to leave.

Hanging out at the pool. Papa found a new buddy!

Bath Time

Romeo loves taking baths now that he can move around in the tub. He loves to play with the water from the faucet and splash around. He's even a pretty good sport when Zadie pours water on his head. His big thing is standing up and dancing, but that gets pretty slippery. As soon as he hears the water running, he crawls down the hall and gets really excited. Bathtime is a favorite!

Tuckered Out!

Both Zadie and Romeo love to sleep in our bed. Last night Zadie made herself comfortable with her dolly and the remote and quickly fell asleep. When I took her to her bed, she asked if she could sleep with me a little longer. It's hard to say no when they're so cute but a must if I want a good night's sleep! As for Romeo, I love to see him sleep because it means I can get something done. These pictures are from naptime today. He is so cute!!

Oh My How We've Grown

Here is the newest addition to our family. Romeo is 9 months old and so much fun! What's amazing about him is his blonde hair! Everywhere we go, everyone says how light he is or asks where he got his blonde hair. But, he looks just like his daddy so it ends there. The last pic is from September and now he is mobile and getting into everything!! I love it though because he can play on his own or follow Zadie around. He is so happy and loves to give hugs and kisses to his mama:) I hope he stays that way!

I'm so cute!!

Here is our little princess Zadie! I can't believe how much she has changed over the last year. When I look at these pictures I am amazed that she isn't a baby anymore, but a little girl. Last year at this time she loved Nemo and now it's the Princesses. She fell in love with dresses this spring and never looked back! These pictures rang from September 2007 to September 2008 and isn't she beautiful! She definitely loves the camera, like someone else we know! (aunt Jessie:) She'll actually ask me to go get it so I can take a picture of her. As you can see from the last pictures, she loves to pose and is very photogenic. She is such a sweet little girl, always giving loves and kisses and taking care of her little brother. He lights up when she comes into the room. What would we do without our Zadie May!

Look at me! I'm 3!

The Garcias-All About Us

Hey Everyone! We are Edson and Sami Garcia, living in the beautiful city of Vernal, Ut. I am from here, but Edson is a transplant from San Diego. We've been here almost three years and it has become home. We have two awesome kids, Zadie-3 and Romeo-9 mos. They are the center of our world! Zadie is a little princess and loves everything girl. She loves to dress up and watch Dancing with the Stars. Romeo is all over the place and so much fun. He's a momma's boy and I love that too. Hope you enjoy our little family!
