Pre-School Graduation

Miss Zadie May
I can't believe that your first year of preschool has passed.
You are still my baby girl in so many ways, yet you grow up faster and faster every time I turn around.
You are beautiful, kind, loving, sent right from heaven.
I love you with all my heart and am so grateful to be your Mommy!
First day of preschool and graduation.
Zadie & Ashley Roberts-they are also in the same primary class
Jaren-look at that smile!
I caught Zadie smiling at me during the program. It was so cute! I think she has the most beautiful smile.
Zadie, Miss Dana and Jaren
Mommy and Zadie-I love my little girl.
Jaren and Zadie with their diplomas. Good job guys!
A local photographer Sandy Schurz came to the preschool and took pictures of the kids. Here are some I got of Zadie. I can't help but say this:
Isn't she beautiful!

LiTtLe BoYs

This was Romeo while I was taking pictures of the kids in the yard. He was totally uninterested as you can see, but I think he is still so cute, even when he isn't posing.
Romeo is getting around really well on his little bike. He keeps us with the other kids here in the cul-de-sac and our elderly neighbors get a kick out of watching him buzz around. Usually the first thing he asks in the morning is if he can go ride his 'bicycle.'
Papa Layne with Lukas. They came down for a visit a couple weeks ag and spent some time with us right before Mother's Day. It was really good to see them.
One afternoon Lukas was being fussy and I was done. So Derrick was taking care of him for me, trying to calm him down. Well, he did the trick and rocked them both to sleep. :)
The other day Romeo fell asleep around noon while I was nursing Lukas. When I layed the baby down, their feet were touching. Well, Lukas started crying and Romeo rose up, layed down next to him and put his arm around him all without waking up, and Lukas calmed right down. I thought this was precious-already looking out for his little brother.

Our Beautiful Kiddies

I took some pics of the kids in the yard for the books I made my mom and Rosie. I thought they turned out pretty good.

Priceless!

Happy Mother's Day @ the Jazz Game

For Mother's Day Derrick asked me if I would like to go to a playoff Jazz game. Since I am always up for a trip out to Salt Lake and I love going to Jazz games, I said YES!! With Lukas being so little, we took him with us and he did so good. We just put some of Derrick's ear plugs in so he wouldn't be startled and he was such a good boy. Here is the opening tip off. We were in the 28th row of the lower bowl so we had really good seats.
Lukas and Mommy at the game. (See the little yellow ear plugs in his ears.)Derron Williams and Derrick Fisher
Cute little Lukas. He was such a good boy during the game. The people around us kept saying how cute he was and what good boy he was being. I had to agree with them. :)The lady we were sitting next to (A Laker's fan no less), asked us if we wanted a picture of the three of us. This was towards the end of the game and Lukas was still happy. He even fell asleep at the end of the 4th quarter. Too bad they lost 111-110, but it was a good game and lots of fun being with my sweetheart.
After the game we went to eat with one of Derrick's co-workers who was also out there with his wife, and then we drove home. We didn't get home until 2 am, but I wanted to be home for Mother's day with the kids. Thanks honey for the funnest Mother's Day yet. I love you!!

Salt Lake Supercross

Every year Derrick and Brandon go to the Supercross in Salt Lake and this year Derrick took Romeo with him. He is really into motorcycles and watching them race, jump and even crash. Derrick got him a riding shirt to wear, and he loves it! He was upset when they had to put his jacket on over it, but it was cold and rainy so he had to have it on. Here is a picture of the boys going through the pits. This is where they look at the bikes and trailers and if they get there early enough, they can get autographs. That didn't happen this year, but maybe next year.

Derrick really didn't let Romeo drink a full Monster energy drink. The cans were their ticket into the pits. Romeo did like it though, as you can tell by the thumbs up!
This is a picture Derrick took during the practice laps. He said the track was awesome and that Romeo's eyes were glued to the riders.
If you look really close, you can see the rider jumping and laying his bike on its side.
I love Romeo's smile. He is such a cutie! Here he was hanging out with Uncle Brandon.
Here are the boys before the rain hit. They had such a good time even in the rain. Derrick was prepared with their winter coats and rain gear so Romeo was warm. He is already talking about going again next year.
