Christmas Day

Look at our Christmas mess! The kids were so spoiled this year! Zadie got a pink leapster with a Dora game and a Nemo game. She has barely put it down! She also got a magna doodle and princess snow boots from Santa. Romeo got some cars that make noise when he pushes them around and a toy hammer. He loved his little police car! He immediately pushed it down the hall and into all the rooms. He didn't want to see anything else for a little while. They got a lot of other things as well that should keep them busy for a little while. Here's our little Christmas package. He wore the bow on his head all morning until bath time.
Zadie got this dance outfit from mommy and daddy. She can't wait to start dance lessons in January. She got some other dress up things in a 'glam box' from our friend Melanie and she changed her outfits all day long. She even took one to Mom's for dinner. She is such a girly girl-I love it!

Zadie just had to help Romeo open his presents, and he was glad for the help. He got a little disinterested after the first rip. He just liked tearing the paper into little pieces! Such a boy!
This is the scarf Mom made for Zadie. She immediately put it on and modeled it for us. She is so excited to wear it around. I want one Mom!!

We All Scream for Ice Cream!!

Here Dad is sharing his ice cream with the grandkids like he used to do with me. They were eating it faster than he could. He is such a great grandpa! Always doing whatever he can to make us smile and take care of us. We love you Papa!!

For FHE dad brought us ice cream cones and Mcflurrys from McDonalds. They were a hit with the kids! Romeo would hardly let Dad get a bite in before he was diving for the spoon. You can tell from the smile on his face how much he loves it!

Christmas Duds!

Here are the cutest kids ever! If you can't tell, Zadie LOVES her Christmas dress. She was so excited that it is one that spins and twirls out when she dances. She asks to wear it every day when she wants to dance. Romeo looks so handsome in his little vest and slacks. It made him look so grown up. I definitely think I'll have the best dressed duo this season!! Romeo doing what he does best! Getting into the presents. He looks so innocent, doesn't he? :)
Here is the beautiful Zadie. She loves the camera and it loves her right back.

A Day At the Zoo

The day after Thanksgiving all the family went to the zoo. The little kids loved walking around and seeing all the animals. Here we all are after our day. We were all ready to go get something to eat.
Here Shelbe, Zadie and Cat are posing like the flamingo. Sorry I cut off your head Cat!!
At the monkey village we were warned not to touch anything since the monkeys pee everywhere. I was a little nervous to go inside. I didn't want them to pee on me!! They did run right over our heads and Christy and I got a little nervous. The girls loved it though! Here is the Grandpa Turtle. Doesn't it show how much effort it takes for him to get anywhere. He moved so slow! I wanted to go pick him up and pack him to his food. Poor old guy!

Here are the girls posing by the big duck pond. They had so much fun together. Hopefully they will grow up to be the best of friends.
Best Friends Again!! Off to see the next adventure.
Here is Zadie with Aunt Kennedy. Most of the time they are inseparable. She loves Aunt Kendedy (that's how Zadie says it:))

Goofing Around!

Zadie stuck her princess crown on Romeo the other day. He looked so cute, but it didn't take long before he wanted it off! I told myself I wouldn't let her dress him up, but it was so cute I had to take a picture!
Zadie and Romeo love their aunts and uncles so much. Here Zadie is with Aunt Catlin. She was so excited when I told her Cat was coming home from Idaho for a visit. She's been spending lots of time with her too. Now she'll go through double withdrawls since both Catlin and Jessie don't live here!!

As we all know, Zadie loves to comb anyone's hair that is willing. Here she put Kennedy's hair in piggy tails. Isn't she so cute. Sometimes she gets pretty wild, but she is getting so good at is that she can even put her own hair in a pony tail. Takes after her mom I guess!:)

Mr. Messy

Since Romeo has become more mobile, he is getting into everything!! Here he got the formula can out of the diaper bag and spilled it all over. He was so cute that I couldn't get mad at him. All I could do was laugh. Could anyone resist that smile?

Another thing Romeo has started doing is feeding himself. He'll hardly let me do it anymore, he wants all his food on the tray so he can control the speed-which is usually him shoveling it in before he even swallows the last bite! He's a growing boy I guess.

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving Day, we made a huge caravan from the hotel (a very nice one by the way!) to Uncle Quenton's condo. There were almost too many cars for us all to fit in the parking lot! He made us a yummy meal and then some of us went outside to enjoy the nice weather. Here is a picture of De'dy, Valinda, Grandma and I outside. You can tell where we got our good looks, eh? We love Grandma Sally!

Here is a picture of Romeo crawling around on the pavement. He was kind of fussy until we went outside, then he was all smiles.
This other picture is of Uncle Quenton's dog giving Romeo kisses. He loved it! We definitely need to get the kids a dog. If only Mommy can handle it as well!

The Princesses

Princesses Getting ReadyMarli, Zadie and Shelbe Zadie and Marli
We went to Phoenix, AZ for Thanksgiving this year. I know it's almost Christmas, but I've been so busy I haven't been able to do a post. Anyway, Zadie had so much fun with her cousins Marli and Shelbe. We brought her princess dresses and shoes so they all got dressed after dinner and went and played outside. Zadie loves to dance so she grabbed Marli and tried to spin her all over the place. The girls had a lot of fun in the hot tub and playing around at the hotel. It was a long 2-day car ride each day, but definitely worth it!
